Magali Barbe

VFX Animator

Based in London, Magali has worked as a VFX animator and previs artist for 13 years. Driven by her passion for storytelling, she wrote, produced and directed her first short film ‘Strange Beasts’ (2017). It was selected in a number of international festivals and got her representation. ‘This Time Away’ is her second short, it started its festival run by winning ‘Best Foreign Film’ at the LA Shorts Fest. Magali is currently working on her next short, a feature script and pitching on various other projects, while freelancing as a VFX artist. She is repped by: UTA + Zero Gravity (US) and Linda Seifert (UK).
