Acting Coach

Caroline Locorriere spent five years in Los Angeles working on commercials, independent and studio features and short films. She studied craft for those five years with some of the most respected acting coaches in the world, taking from their teachings and creating her own approach to the craft of acting and the technique of working on camera. She was the Acting for Camera professor in Belmont University’s Theatre Department, from 2004 to 2012, creating the Acting for Camera class syllabus and course content as well as teaching all level Film Studies. In 2008, she started a private acting studio.

The Nashville Acting Studio has ongoing classes where serious actors concentrate on working on their craft. The main techniques focused on are script analysis, camera appropriateness and emotional preparation. Caroline also does on set coaching, role prep coaching and audition coaching and will be back at Belmont University in the fall to teach the Acting for Camera course she created for the Theatre Department.
