A.W. “Tony” Scott is a co-founder of Broadvision Pictures. After a career as a consultant and venture capitalist to high tech companies around the world, he entered and completed the UCLA Graduate Film School’s Professional Screenwriting and Writing for Television Programs. Tony also studied Directing in UCLA Extension’s Directing Program, and acting technique at Lewis Smith’s Actor’s Academy.
Tony and his partner Jean Qing Su, who was born and raised in China, focus on creating grounded, character-driven stories, typically inspired by real people and events. A number of their stories feature Asian lead characters in cross-cultural settings. Tony has been involved personally and in business in Asia for nearly 30 years, and has basic conversational skills in Mandarin Chinese.
